The Museum
Perched at the edge of the Giza Plateau with a direct view of the pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum is the largest archaeological museum in the world โ a cultural sanctuary spanning 480,000 square meters.
Designed by Heneghan Peng Architects, the building's translucent alabaster facade filters golden light across artifacts spanning three millennia, from the Pre-Dynastic period to the Greco-Roman era.

New Kingdom ยท 1323 BCE
The iconic golden mask of the boy king โ 11 kg of solid gold inlaid with lapis lazuli, carnelian and obsidian. The world's most recognizable ancient artifact.
Ramesside ยท 1279 BCE
The colossal quartzite statue of Egypt's most celebrated pharaoh stands at the grand hall entrance.

For the first time in history, all 5,200+ artifacts from Tutankhamun's tomb are displayed together in a dedicated gallery spanning two floors. From the legendary golden mask to miniature shabtis, witness a complete royal treasury as it existed 3,300 years ago.
